Hi peterbcn.
With lupine you have the option to choose between many different
batterys :D , each with a other capacity. On lupine batterys the capacity is
always indicated in "Ah" (Ampere hours).

When you look at the Lupine-shop for batterys, you can see
what batterys of wich capacity gives.

PS: Why do you wonder, whats the couriosity?

greetings

Aaah, sorry. Now I know what you mean.
Wich capacity one individual "CELL" has I dont know.
But you can simply calculate it. You've just to know how many
cells in the battery-pack are connected !!!in one unit!!! in parallel and then
divide the complete capacity to the number of the parallel connected cells.

For example: one unit consist of 2 parallel cells. (There are always 6 units
connected in series for 7,2 volts). The complete capacity of the battery
pack is 8,2 Ah. In follow one cell has the capacity 8,2Ah / 2 cells = 4,1Ah.

4,1 Ah for one cell is fiction (although lupine use very large cells).
It's just an example - But I cant guarantee for any mistakes

As so, it were better you buy an manufactured battery pack by lupine

we use 18650 D cells . typ. capacity is 2400 mA , only japanese cells , directly imported via plane. No chinese cells, no assembling in China.

This means that a typical 2P 2 S battery as used in the Passubio will have a capacity around 4800 mA. But we always claim lower capacities to make shure that there is a little reserve in the battery to cover first 1 or 2 years even if conditions are bad.
