New Wilma battery question
New Wilma battery question
The new Lupine batteries with the SmartCore feature are supplied with all new Lupine lights. I have just received a new Lupine Wilma, which is supplied with a 5.6Ah battery. Does this mean my older, 7.5Ah batteries will also work, or does SmartCore somehow exclude the older Lupine batteries?

Re: New Wilma battery question
Your old battery, as long as it is in good condition, will work flawlessly with your "new" Wilma (what model is it?), if it is a 17W or 19W model. Will also work +/- well with the new Wilma 28W version.
The new Betty R 40W and Wilma 28W sets come with a kind of new batteries capable of higher Ampere drain as far as I understood. Using older batteries (in principle they work with the newest lamps) may have the issue that there is a premature warning/signaling on the lamp that the battery is low. Shouldn't be much of an issue with the new Wilma 28W, but might be more accentuated with the new Betty R 40W. So much as for my understanding, some expertes may correct.
