Re: Wilma issue

You can try greasing the connectors with some Dutch grease (you received some in your Wilma package), or just try to rub it a little to remove any form of rust from them. I had a similar problem before (with an after-market battery though), but I was able to reproduce this switching-off by whacking ...

Re: Lupine Wilma 7 available upgrades ?

Still no sign of upgrades for the Ext-Wilma. In the meantime various light manufacturers come out with more and more interesting lights, for example: Dinotte upgraded their 1200L model and the beamshots on mtbr look really convincing. Hope also have their new 8-led model with a variable beam. Cateye...

Re: Lupine Wilma 7 available upgrades ?

It is still not clear whether there's going to be upgrades for the older Lupines since they say that the new lights will have an updated electronics board and not just the LEDs + lens. Eg. for the Betty 24W -> 26W. But my take on this is: who cares? I've been waiting for the wide lens for my old 15W...

Re: Betty upgrade vs new Betty

Check it yourself! Pontefix has made really great photos to compare the two lens: http://www.lupine.de/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2385&start=150#p17945 I haven't found a comparison between the old and new Bettys, but basically the new Wilma is as bright (or brighter) than an old Betty... wit...

Re: Similar or narrower light beam as Piko?

Both the Wilma and the Betty with the 16* lens are quite narrow, they have very good throw. As for the Betty 16*, you could put it on a helicopter as a searchlight and it would easily illuminate things from a few hundred meters. Totally pointless ;-)

Re: 2.5 watt setting Piko vs. Betty

7 leds are more efficient than 2, it's that simple.

Re: How to order a Betty 22*

No, sorry, I meant THE Betty lighthead (this one: http://s235041100.online.de/shop/article_i750/24W-Betty---LED---Head.html?shop_param=cid%3D135%26aid%3Di750%26). I thought there was a way of ordering it directly with the 22* lens, as I have no need for the 16*. And there is a way, but only on the G...

How to order a Betty 22*

How can someone order a Betty from the Lupine webshop with the wide lens?

There is no such option on the English page.

On the German page I can select the wide lens, but then I can't select my country for shipping.

???

Here you can see the "trelock" red light in action. I think with this light and the Lupine front lights car drivers will always notice me ...

Err... where is it? :-P Can't see your rear light, but the double Betty setup is WOW

Re: Red Light?

Why is the Dinotte beam white? My camera couldn't handle the brightness, in other words I guess it is overexposed (or underexposed? don't know much about taking photos -> to keep the other light visible). Yes, it is blinding, but only if you point it directly at the drivers. If you point it slightl...

Re: Red Light?

Have you ever seen a Dinotte rear light in real? It is not comparable to _any_ blinker, it is in a completely different dimension. It's like comparing the output of a Cateye commuter light to the Betty (hey, my Cateye also has 7 leds, and runs for 20 hours on 4 AA batteries - so it must be better!)....
